The club boats require some winter maintenance. We will do most of the maintenance from March onwards when the weather is hopefully a bit warmer. The first session will be at Frensham Pond to check the boats over and make a list of jobs and new equipment to buy. If you are a dinghy section member, please try to support the maintenance sessions.
The planned date for the first session is Saturday 9th March in the morning and the second will be on Saturday 30th March. More details will be sent out nearer the time but please put this in your diary. We will need six to eight dinghy section members volunteers to help.
Stokes Bay to Ryde is a great shakedown sail for the beginning of the season – it could be that we go to Ryde, or further along to Seaview (where there’s a pub). It’s a straightforward, line of sight sail to the Isle of Wight, with the excitement of crossing the shipping lines.
